OSTER A5 CRYOGEN-X AGION BLADES

The Oster A5 CryoGen-X AgION blades are the only blade in the industry with the AgION antimicrobial coating to protect against a broad range of bacteria.

The Oster CryoGen-X AgION blades have advanced, silver-based AgION antimicrobial protection built in, which prevents the growth of bacteria, mould and mildew on blade surfaces. The blades are manufactured from fine-grain, high carbon steel that is cryogenically treated so that the edges stay sharp longer.

These blades have a Rockwell Hardness rating of 62 and stay ultra cool for optimum durability.

SHEAR MAGIC CERAMIC BLADES

The Shear Magic Ceramic blades sustain optimal cutting performance over longer periods of time. They remain cool to the touch even with prolonged use.

The Shear Magic Ceramic blades are economical to use as they require less sharpening - saving you both time and money. The ceramic cutters are also rust resitant, minimising blade corrosion.

The Shear Magic Ceramic cutter is also available to purchase separately, allowing you to replace your existing steel cutter with a ceramic cutter. It will fit on existing detachable blades as listed above.

*The difference between a skip and full is as follows:

Skip tooth blades cut faster through dense, matted hair but their clip is rough and not attractive. Use a skip tooth blade for the first pass “rough in” and then smooth your grooming with a full tooth blade. Skip tooth blades are best for clipping very heavily coated or matted dogs.

Full tooth blades are used for smoothing over a coat that has been cut with a skip tooth blade. They can also be used as the main cutting blade on coats that are not matted.

**Toe blades are blades that are narrower in the cutting width than a normal blade and are designed specifically for trimming feet.

*+Ceramic Cutters can be used with existing existing blades. It replaces the existing steel cutter to give you a ceramic blade that will run cooler.
