How long do the natural slow-dried treats keep for?

All our natural treats are naturally slow-dried for many hours, this enables them to be kept many months.

What's the best way to keep the slow-dried treats?

It’s important that your pet's slow-dried treats are kept in an air-tight container or bag, out of direct sunlight, and in a cool dry place. It is best not to keep them in the laundry if you use your dryer often due to the humidity.

Are there any preservatives or chemicals used in the slow-dried treats?

No, all our slow-dried treats are 100% natural with no chemicals or preservatives either used to preserve the product or during the drying/dehydration process.

THE DEHYDRATION PROCESS
The process of dehydration uses refrigeration to extract moisture from the product, whilst inside a hermitically sealed chamber. This process produces a product that has a longer shelf life and maintains the same enzyme and nutritional value as fresh products and can be stored without refrigeration.

THE SLOW DRYING PROCESS
This process uses large ovens to slow dry produce over many hours. This process produces a product that has a longer shelf life and can be stored without the need of refrigeration.

CLIPPERS AND CLIPPING YOUR PET

Are the clippers covered by warranty?

Yes, all our clipper products are covered by a 12 month warranty against manufacturing faults. All warranty claims are made right here in Australia, so there is no need to send them overseas for warranty work.

What's the best blade to use for my dog?

We have a list of blades that are recommended for different blades on our website.
Click here to view the comprehensive list.

What's the between the different blade brands?

We stock different brands of blades to suit your needs and budget. Click here to view our Blade Brand Reference Guide.

What's the difference between a skip tooth and full tooth blade?

A skip tooth blade is a blade which has alternating longer and shorter teeth. They cut faster through dense, matted hair but their clip is rough and not attractive. Use a skip tooth blade for the first pass “rough in” and then smooth your grooming with a full tooth blade. Skip tooth blades are best for clipping very heavily coated or matted dogs.
Full tooth blades are used for smoothing over a coat that has been cut with a skip tooth blade. They can also be used as the main cutting blade on coats that are not matted or dense.
